Radium Group (2547TW) Titan Development

is Awarded the Winning Tenderer for

"Administrative Building and Library Building Construction, National Palace Museum"

Listed company Radium (2547 TW) announced its subsidiary Titan Development and Construction Co., Ltd. participated in the open tendering procedures of the "Administrative Building and Library Building Construction, National Palace Museum," was awarded the winning tenderer, with an amount of around NT$490 million.

"Administrative Building and Library Building Construction, National Palace Museum" is one of the sub-plans of the Executive Yuan's "New Palace Museum - midterm plan for publicizing Palace Museum to promote development of tourism industry." The aggregate planning is scheduled to be completed by 2026. Preliminary design of the administrative building and library construction had been completed in March 2021, and urban design approved in August 2021. The project is expected to start construction by end of 2022, with estimated construction schedule of 2 years.

The National Palace Museum owns world-class Chinese cultural and artistic masterpieces, while new Palace Museum plans further to highlight sightseeing points of the Palace Museum, introducing a new era of curatorial aesthetics to keep pace with the Musée du Louvre and the British Museum. The project is located at the Zhishan Section, Shilin District of Taipei City, with site area around 9,700 pings. It is initially planned to build a 3-storey administrative building and a 2-storey library above the ground, with designs of smart green building meeting particular demands of the Palace Museum.

Titan Development is the 100%-own subsidiary of Radium Group. It had signed contract with the Taiwan Railway Bureau of the Ministry of Communications to invest into the “Kaohsiung Railway Station East Old Dormitory Area Urban Renewal Project” with development concepts of “New Q-square, all aged healthy community” and TOD. Apart from that, Titan Development participated also Radium Group’s major infrastructure projects, including T9 BOT project for Taipei Bus Station, BOT Project for Taoyuan City Taoyuan District Sewerage System, and New Taipei City Youth Social Housing i Go Homes in Zhonghe & Sanchong, etc.

Titan Development developed also Taoyuan City Environmental Protection Bureau's "Longtan Great Pond Water Quality Improvement and Water Environment Construction Project" and won the Top prize under aerobic purification category of the “National Water Environment Award of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Water Resources” in July 2022. By utilizing Radium’s water treatment technology and permeable layers design, Titan Development made the purification facility able to recycle 18,000 tons of water per day, improving effectively lake water quality in Taoyuan. By adopting low-impact development system with undergrounded facilities, the green areas increased by 1.6 hectares with ecological park and restoration tree species. Titan Development with Longtan Great Pond project had won further the FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence and the Public Construction Golden Quality Award.
