Radium Group (2547TW) is Awarded the Best Applicant for

Land Development Project of WuRi WenXin BeiTun Line

- Nantun Station of TaiChung MRT Systems

Listed company RADIUM Life Tech. Co., LTD. (2547 TW) announced to be awarded by Taichung City Government the best applicant for land development project of WuRi WenXin BeiTun Line- Nantun Station of TaiChung MRT Systems. The project will be developed along with the Company’s 100% own subsidiary Ji Shun Life Tech Co., Ltd.

Nantun Station lot has a site area of around 771 pings, locates at the intersection of Wenxin road and Wuquan west road in Nantun District, with a coverage rate of 70% and a floor area ratio of 500%.  It’s adjacent to the so-called G11 Art Green Gallery-Wenxin Forest Park & Fengle Sculpture Park, near by Wenxin Evening Market and Wuquan Interchange connecting National Highway No. 1.  Nantun Station has advantages of both MRT and highway convenience, with commercial and residential functions.

Taichung real estate prices and demands kept soaring since 2016, and became the second high market for properties in Taiwan in 2020. According to statistics from the real estate transaction information platform of Great Taichung, the housings registered to transfer from January to May 2021 in Taichung increased 26.3% over the same period of 2020.  Benefiting from public transit constructions such as Taichung MRT Systems, people prefer to purchase residences in Beitun District, Xitun District, and Nantun District.

Due to the prospective transit-oriented developments in Great Taichung, Radium Group participates aggressively constructions in hot zones along Taichung MRT Green Line with over 20 years of TOD experiences in Taipei. In December 2020, Radium had signed two investment contracts with Taichung City Government to develop Wenxin Chongde Station (in Beitun District) and Wenxin Sakura Station (in Xitun District) projects. For Nantun Station project (in Nantun District) just being awarded, Radium plans to develop a 27-floor landmark green building with 5-floor undergrounded, with "Emerald forests. Lungs of Nantun" design based on Taichung characteristics and the society demands.
