Radium (2547 TW) Holds Investor Conference
Focusing on Core Businesses to Drive Sustainable Long-Term Growth

Radium (2547 TW) holds investor conference today (5/21), illustrates the Group’s development blueprint. In response to long-term structural shifts in industry dynamics and demographics, Radium will continue to sharpen its focus on core businesses characterized by resilient demand and high barriers to entry.

Anchored in three strategic pillars, i.e. water resource circular economy, transit-oriented development (TOD), and health & senior caring, the Group is integrating AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Coupled with mature operating businesses that generate stable cash flows and reinforce brand equity, Radium is positioning itself for disciplined, sustainable long-term growth.

Circular Economy & AI-Driven Smart Water Solutions: From Engineering to Urban Sustainability Services

Radium spokesperson Christine Chen notes that, in 2025 & 2026Q1, the Group’s water recycling business accounted for over 40% of total revenue, becoming a primary growth engine of Radium. The business model has evolved from traditional infrastructure construction to an integrated platform combining public utility services, long-term concession agreements, and advanced technology development, creating a high-barrier competitive moat.

In Taoyuan’s northern district, the Group has invested over NT$17.5 billion. Its subsidiary, Rih Ding Water, is advancing Taiwan’s largest sewer BOT project, surpassing 170,000 household connections and achieving a daily wastewater treatment capacity of 100,000 CMD, with expansion to 150,000 CMD underway. In parallel, the Bao Ding Reclaimed Water BTO project currently supplies 40,000 CMD, with full-phase capacity expected to reach 112,000 CMD. Together, these initiatives establish a comprehensive water circular system, from wastewater collection and advanced purification to reclaimed supply and industrial reuse, effectively forming a critical “urban micro-reservoir” for Northern Taiwan.

According to Global Market Insights, the global water recycling and reuse market was valued at US$18.3 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach US$56.8 billion by 2034, representing a CAGR exceeding 12%. Growth is particularly robust in North America and Asia-Pacific, driven by intensifying climate risks, ESG & net-zero mandates, industrial dependence on reliable water supply, and advances in treatment technologies. Reclaimed water has thus evolved from an environmental solution into a core component of supply chain risk management and urban resilience.

Water infrastructure, with its quasi-utility characteristics, offers stable cash flows underpinned by long-term contracts. With the commissioning of Bao Ding’s reclaimed water facilities and Rih Ding Water’s advanced recycling capabilities, the Group has established a clear industry leadership position. By integrating generative AI and intelligent decision systems, which covering water quality forecasting, membrane lifecycle prediction, and energy optimization, the Group is developing Taiwan’s first AI-enabled smart reclaimed water plant. This transition elevates the business from traditional infrastructure to a technology-driven essential services platform aligned with global smart water trends.

Construction & TOD Strategy: Building Long-Term Urban Competitiveness

In construction business, Radium has transitioned from standalone project development to a TOD-centric urban node strategy, linking major metropolitan corridors across Northern, Central, and Southern Taiwan.

In the north, the flagship urban renewal project on Guanqian Road in Taipei secured NT$3.394 billion in syndicated financing, with 126% oversubscription, reflecting strong institutional support. Located at the Taipei Main Station multi-modal hub, the development will feature a 27-story Grade-A smart green office tower incorporating 5G-enabled building management and low-carbon design, addressing global corporate demand for ESG-compliant, high-specification office environments.

In central Taiwan, the joint development project at Wenxin Chongde Station on the Taichung MRT Green Line commenced construction in 2025, and will integrate projects at both Wenxin Yinhua and Nantun stations, forming a comprehensive transit-oriented living corridor.

In the South, Radium formally signed the Kaohsiung MRT R17 World Games Station A5 urban renewal project with the Kaohsiung City Government, marking a significant milestone in its southern expansion. The project spans approximately 4,200 pings (13,884 m²), with total investment exceeding NT$8.85 billion. It is designated as a second-class commercial area, with a legal building coverage ratio of 50% and a floor area ratio of 300%, and is expected to obtain the building permit by the end of 2026. It’s designed to deliver a mixed-use development comprising Grade-A office space, industrial facilities, and 618 residential units, alongside a Qsquare Mall to create a fully integrated urban ecosystem.

Strategically located within the Northern Kaohsiung technology corridor-near Nanzih Industrial Park, Qiaotou Science Park, and approximately 1.5 km from TSMC facilities, the project benefits from strong industrial clustering and transit connectivity. It will incorporate green and smart building standards and pursue international certifications (LEED, WELL, WiredScore, and SmartScore), leveraging TOD principles to support efficient commuting and urban living, thereby serving as a critical node for semiconductor and AI industry growth.

Health & Senior Living: Addressing Structural Demand in a Super-Aged Society

As Taiwan transitions into a super-aged society, Radium is proactively expanding its health and senior caring business through its dual brands, “Beautiful Life” and “GENESIS.”

The “Beautiful Life” in Zhonghe’s social housing (“iHome”) has successfully implemented an intergenerational co-living model and received the 2025 FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award-Best Social Housing, demonstrating both operational viability and scalability. Meanwhile, the “GENESIS” in Sanzhi comprises 816 residential units designed for all-age living, integrating smart care and health management systems to balance quality of life with asset value. GENESIS I & II are to complete in succession in 2026 and proceed inspection/handover procedure.

This segment represents not only a market opportunity but also a long-term investment platform, combining real estate value, recurring service income, and durable customer relationships, strategically aligned with demographic transformation.

Mature Operating Businesses: Stable Cash Flow and Brand Strength

Beyond its three primary growth engines, Radium continues to strengthen its established operating businesses. These include managing the Taipei Bus Station through Subsidiary Wan Da Tong to integrate transportation with urban lifestyles, developing Q-Square Mall as a transit-oriented retail hub that effectively captures foot traffic and commercial value, and operating Radium Kagaya as a premium hospitality brand that has built enduring customer trust.

Collectively, these businesses enhance urban functionality, residential quality, and regional development while providing the Group with stable cash flows, strong brand positioning, and operational resilience.

Outlook: Steady Execution on the Right Strategic Path

Radium remains committed to its vision of becoming “a green enterprise determined to uphold sustainability.” By integrating AI technologies, capital resources, and urban development expertise, the Group will continue to focus on its core pillars: strengthening water reclaimed security through circular economy solutions, enhancing urban efficiency through TOD, supporting societal stability through senior living services, and reinforcing financial resilience through mature operating businesses.  With disciplined execution and a clear strategic direction, Radium is expecting to build a durable foundation for long-term value creation.
