RADIUM (2547 TW) Holds 2022 Shareholders Meeting

Listed company RADIUM Life Tech. Co., LTD. (2547 TW) holds the 2022 shareholders meeting to approve 2021 financial report. The 2021 consolidated revenue was NT$ 6.25 billion, EPS NT$0.07. The Company plans to distribute cash dividend per share NT$0.2 to shareholders.

Rong-Shian Lin, Chairman of RADIUM, said that Radium had introduced a greenhouse gas inventory plan in response to ESG net-zero carbon emission target. Radium and subsidiary Rih Ding Water Enterprise are currently implementing ISO 14064-1 process. The greenhouse gas inventory is completed internally to be certified by international institute. 

Radium accelerates sustainability efforts by expanding investment in circular economy business such as sewage treatment, reclaimed water and waste-to-energy business. Together with Rih Ding Water, which has won the “Gold Thumb” from the Ministry of Finance, the Group has invested approximately NT$10 billion to build BOT project of Taoyuan water resource recycling system, reaching 112,000 households currently with capacity of treating 100,000 tons of sewage per day.

Radium Group is selected also the best applicant for the “Reclaimed Water BTO Project of North District Water Resources Recycling Center in Taoyuan” by Taoyuan Government. The said project will apply intelligent safety management and pre-warning systems to ensure stable quality and quantity of reclaimed water with lower energy usage. It’s expected to provide 40,000 metric tons of reclaimed water per day after the first phase of project completed to enhance flexibility of water resources in Taoyuan. On the other hand, subsidiary Jing Ding Green Energy will manage BOT project at Zhangbin Industrial Park Resource Processing Center. The environmental evaluation was approved in 1Q 2022. After completion, it’s estimated to treat 700 tons of general industry waste and sludge daily.

As for Radium’s elderly caring business, sales for Genesis-Sanzhi project keep growing and I Beautiful Life-Zhonghe has won the "Symbol of National Quality" awarded by the National Biotechnology Medical Technology Policy Center for its warming home-like service. With concept of “growing old in own house,” Genesis-Sanzhi is designed to provide customized health-care residentials with 3,200 pings of green park, combining with elderly service of I Beautiful Life and UWB safety cloud system.  Radium is now planning the “Genesis-Sanzhi II” on west seaside base covering 1,208 pings and expecting to launch the second half of 2022.

As for the spotlighting reconstruction project “Qiao'an” locating at commercial area of Taipei City, the land base is around 1,000 pings, with MRT station Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall nearby. It’s designed to build a 24-floor high and 4-floor undergrounded SRC green building. The construction license has been approved with target to start development in 3Q 2022.
