Water Resource Regeneration: Supporting Sustainable Cycles and Expanding Reclaimed Water Supply

Radium subsidiary Bao-Ding Reclaimed Water has been advancing the Taoyuan Reclaimed Water BTO Project, with the first phase supplying 18,000 cubic meters of reclaimed water daily (CMD), aiming to increase to 40,000 CMD by 2025. Additionally, Radium’s subsidiary Rih-Ding Water has expanded its sewerage system to 148,000 households and plans to complete the third phase of its expansion by 2026, reaching a daily sewage treatment capacity of 150,000 CMD.

With the integration of AI-based smart water management and pipeline lifecycle warning systems, along with anaerobic digestion and waste heat sludge drying technologies, Radium aims to enhance reclaimed water source stability while achieving a 6% reduction in carbon emissions from the third-phase system. The overall water resource recycling system in Taoyuan represents a total investment of over TWD 14.5 billion, dedicated to building a comprehensive water resource recycling infrastructure.
