Radium Group (2547 TW) Launches Succession Plan

From Property Development to Public Transportation, Department Stores, Hotels, Water Circularity, Social Housing, Senior Living & Wellness, AI and Sustainable Governance

Building “A green enterprise determined to uphold sustainability” for the Future

Radium Group (TWSE: 2547) has formally launched its group-wide succession plan, built around five core values: Value, Shared Prosperity, Innovation, Synergy, and Sustainability.  The plan marks a gradual transition across corporate governance, business management and talent development, while establishing the vision of “a green enterprise determined to uphold sustainability” as the Group’s next phase of growth, which is one focused on quality, diversification and long-term sustainability.

On October 1, 2026, Radium Group’s subsidiary, Rih-Ding Water, completed its board election with longtime director Hua-Chun Lin assuming the chairmanship. The appointment represents an important step in Radium Group’s transition from first-generation entrepreneurship and leadership toward a new era of second-generation responsibility and shared governance with professional management.

From “Successors” to a “Leadership Team”

Second-generation leader Hua-Chun Lin has gained extensive experience across property development and resource-circulation businesses. He was appointed Vice Chairman of Radium Group in 2021, progressively taking on greater responsibilities in group management and strategic development.

Meanwhile, other second-generation members, Yi-Chun Lin and Kerwin Go, have devoted many years to the Group’s retail and hospitality businesses, including Qsquare Mall and Kagaya Hotel, as well as related operating businesses.

At the same time, professional executives, including Group President Yao-Kai Liu, continue to play an active role in the Group’s management. By combining institutionalized management, professional expertise and talent development with the long-term commitment of family members, Radium is building a complementary governance structure.

The Group is also clarifying responsibilities, decision-making authority and cross-business coordination mechanisms, while establishing defined work priorities, accountable leaders and implementation timelines for each stage of the succession process. The objective is to create a succession framework that is measurable, transparent and trackable, ensuring continuity while strengthening the Group’s professional governance.

Succession Is About Creating the Next Growth Curve

Radium Group began its journey with land development, construction and urban renewal, contributing to Taiwan’s urban transformation over the past decades. Looking ahead, the Group will expand its strategic focus into water-resource recycling, reclaimed water, green transformation, AI and digital governance, urban renewal, Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), senior housing and integrated senior-care services.

Water-resource recycling and reclaimed-water businesses will take Radium beyond traditional property development and into urban infrastructure and the circular economy. AI and digital technologies will increasingly be integrated into corporate governance and business operations. TOD and urban renewal will build on the Group’s longstanding capabilities in urban development, while senior housing and integrated senior-care services will address emerging needs arising from demographic change.

The Group will also continue to participate in the development and operation of social housing and youth housing, contributing to evolving housing policies and broader urban-development needs.

Family Responsibility and Professional Governance Moving Forward Together

Following the election of Radium Group’s 11th Board of Directors in May 2025, Rong-Shian Lin continued to serve as Chairman, with Hua-Chun Lin serving as Vice Chairman. In October 2026, Hua-Chun Lin assumed the chairmanship of Rih-Ding Water, further demonstrating the Group’s approach of steady leadership, progressive responsibility and orderly generational transition.

After decades of building and growing the business, Radium Group believes that succession is about passing on responsibility, values and the ability to create long-term value.

Going forward, family members will continue to assume responsibility for the Group’s long-term vision, values and strategic direction, while professional executives and management teams will operate businesses across property development, water resources, retail, hospitality and emerging sectors.

Through institutionalized governance, professional management and systematic talent development, Radium Group aims to build a stronger foundation for the future, transforming decades of experience into a new platform for sustainable growth, innovation and long-term value creation.
