Radium (2547 TW) Releases Q2 2024 Key Business Report
Radium (2547 TW) is committed to the vision of becoming " a green enterprise determined to uphold sustainability " by developing resource recycling infrastructure. In the first half of 2024, the revenue from its circular economy business reached NTD 1.49 billion, accounting for 47% of the group's total revenue. Radium is actively promoting water resource recycling and fully subscribed to the capital increase of its subsidiary, Rih Ding Investment Holdings, by subscribing 9,380 thousand new shares at a price of NTD 95.66 per share, totaling approximately NTD 897 million.
In the Taoyuan area, Radium and its subsidiaries, Rih Ding Water and Bao Ding Reclaimed Water, are constructing the sewerage recycling system and reclaimed water system of North District Water Resources Recycling Center, the total investment will exceed NT$14.5 billion. Rih Ding Water has built the sewage recycling system in Taoyuan, connecting 147,000 households. Bao Ding Reclaimed Water has completed the construction of a 7,145-meter water pipeline connected to the CPC Taoyuan Refinery, with the supply of reclaimed water to the CPC set to commence in October 2024.
In the construction business, the Wenxin Chongde Station (G6) joint development project of the Taichung MRT is expected to obtain construction permits in Q3 2024. The preliminary engineering contract process will be carried out, with an estimated contract value of no more than NTD 300 million for the initial phase.
In the elderly caring business, the first phase of GENESIS in Sanzhi project covers an area of approximately 15,392 m2, offering 50 m2 to 89 m2 senior housing units integrated with Le Tau Chu elderly caring services. The first phase, comprising 520 units, is expected to receive approval of usage license in in Q4 2024. Additionally, Radium is expanding its urban wellness housing design in Banqiao, utilizing the 191,736 m2 natural ecological environment of the group’s construction project. The “Happy Life in Forest" health care housing in Banqiao will offer 99 m2 to 155 m2 duplex units, with Le Tau Chu providing healthcare monitoring, senior courses, fitness, and social services. The community, surrounded by the Fuzhou Wetland Riverside Park and near the MRT Far Eastern Hospital commercial area, will also feature a day care center operated by Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, creating a comprehensive urban wellness environment.
In the operations business, Radium Kagaya, the first overseas branch of Japan's Kagaya, is known for its authentic Japanese traditional culture and high-end services in Beitou. At June 6th 2024, the 2,200-year-old Ishiura Shrine in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, announced its first overseas branch located in Radium Kagaya, Taiwan. Renowned for its blessings of good marriage, safe childbirth, family safety, and peace, this shrine, crafted by Japanese artisans using traditional cypress wood, is situated on the 6th floor of Radium Kagaya. It houses the deities Ishikura Okami, Hirosaka Inari Okami, and Taiwan Okami, praying for the peace and prosperity of Taiwan.
