Radium(2547TW) is awarded "2022 TCSA Sustainability Report-Gold Award"

-         “The GENESIS 1- Sanzhi " Elderly Caring Project closes the sales 

Listed company Radium (2547 TW) announced to be awarded the “2022 Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards - Sustainability Report - Gold Award.” The Company was recognized with gold award under the real estate & construction category for its achievements in sustainable cities, elderly caring, circular economy, greenhouse gas management and sewage management.

The benchmark project of Radium elderly caring business, “The Genesis 1- Sanzhi” with land base of around 4,600 pings, has launched over 510 residences of 15-ping, 18-ping, and 27-ping for sales, combining with elderly caring house “I Beautiful Life” for rental. The Genesis 1-Sanzhi closes the sales now, with several reserving residences for long-term caring and family members to accompany with. The Genesis 1 is targeting to complete construction in first half of 2024. The following project “The Genesis 2- Sanzhi,” with base area around 1,200 pings, has launched in 2022 Q4 with more than 130 sea-view leisure residences of 15-ping, 27-ping, and 33-ping for the senior. The Genesis 2 provides senior school and hotel-style property management, with services of professional nurses, social workers, and rehabilitation centers. Combining with UWB safety positioning technology, health caring APP and identity recognition system, the Genesis 2 is able to provide residents a cloud monitoring system for physical and mental health, creating a sea- view resort with digital health caring functions for the elderly.

Radium plans sustainable cities based on ESG concept and advances construction environmental-friendly. The spotlighting reconstruction project “Qiao'an New Village,” with a base area of about 1,000 ping, has started construction in July 2022. The project is expected to complete in 2027, with a 24-storey SRC smart green building and 4-storey undergrounded, total floor area of about 9,800 pings. Qiao'an project is constructed with the "Alfa Safe System Construction Method" to make reinforcement processing accessory and rebar binding standardization, so as to improve effectively the earthquake resistance of buildings. According to the test results of the National Earthquake Engineering Research Center, the seismic toughness of Alfa Safe system construction method is more than double comparing to that of traditional construction. In addition to being structurally safe and effectively against earthquakes, the Alfa Safe construction method has also been certified by the 2021 Low-Carbon Building Alliance (LCBA) low-carbon construction method, estimated able to achieve a 50% carbon reduction ratio.

Radium participates actively in circular economy, and designs green buildings with solar systems or wind power systems based on the project applicability. Subsidiary Rih Ding Water managing the Taiwan largest Taoyuan North District Water Resource Recovery System BOT, apart from combining BioNET technology with MBR filtration system, Rih Ding Water cooperates also with ITRI through “A+ program” to develop further technology of reducing sodium, chlorine, nitrate and sulfuric acid in recycled water. So far there are 180,000 households connecting with sewage treatment system in Taoyuan, of which around 70% were constructed by Rih Ding Water.  While another Taoyuan North District Reclaimed Water BTO project managed by subsidiary Bao Ding Reclaimed Water, the BTO project plans to be constructed in three phases starting from November 2022. The first phase is scheduled to be completed in 2025, expecting to provide more than 40,000 metric tons of reclaimed water per day. The system is designed to treat water with ultrafiltration membrane (UF) and reverse osmosis (RO) technologies. The quality of treated reclaimed water will be equal or superior than tap water, therefore able to stabilize water supply in Taoyuan area. Another subsidiary Titan Development developing Taoyuan "Longtan Great Pond Water Quality Improvement and Water Environment Construction Project", utilizing purifying water technology by building purification facilities at the entry level of the pond, adopting multi-layer composite filter system, so as to reduce ammonia nitrogen and suspended solids in pond water. By adopting low-impact development system with undergrounded facilities, the green areas increased by 1.6 hectares with ecological park and restoration tree species, showing recycling technology can also support environment. Titan Development with Longtan Great Pond project therefore wins the FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award and the Top prize of National Water Environment Award.
