RADIUM (2547 TW) announces 2020 earnings distribution plan with a cash dividend of NT$0.62 per share
Listed company RADIUM Life Tech. Corp., LTD. (2547 TW) announces its board of directors approved 2020 earnings distribution plan. The total amount of cash dividends distributed to shareholders is approximately NT$558 million, with an allotment of NT$ 0.62 in cash per share.
Radium reports its 2020 top line came in at NT$6.77 billion, up 7% YOY, net profits after tax NT$667M, up 43% YOY, while EPS rose 53% YOY to NT$0.69. Radium proposes a cash dividend of NT$ 0.62 per share, suggesting to distribute total amount of NT$558,058,682 from the distributable surplus.
Radium recognized around 30% revenues from construction business in 2020. At the same time, Radium signed contract in 1Q20 with Taiwan Railway Bureau to develop "The City Renewal Project in the East Old Dormitory Area of Kaohsiung Railway Station," which covers land base of around 8,378 pings at the center of Kaohsiung City. Following with that Radium Group signed two investment contracts in 4Q20 with Taichung Municipal Government to develop station projects along with Taichung MRT Green Line, "Wensin Chongde Station" and "Wensin Cherry Blossom Station," which cover land bases of around 700 pings and 500 pings respectively. Radium is planning to utilize TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) mode and co-configuration pattern to construct with MRT stations and make these smart green buildings the future landmarks of Taichung public MRT system.
Moreover, Radium was selected in December 2020 the best executor for the urban renewal project of “Lot 246, Subsection 2 Gongyuan Section, Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City.” The investment contract is planned to sign in 1H21 after completing the agreement reviews. The project is located at the cross roads of Guanqian Rd. and Xinyang Street near by Taipei Main Station. It involves land base of 599 pings, with building coverage ratio of 75% and floor area ratio of 800%. Radium plans to develop an A-class smart & green office building with the prosperous location at the very center of public transition system in Taipei City.
Radium is speeding up also its elderly care business with the benchmark project in Sanzhi starting from June 2020, with land base around 5,864 pings. Based on Chairman Rong-Shian Lin’s ideal on elderly care for whole society, with creative plan of building 713 units for sale and 168 units for rental, plus Radium’s excellent reputation extending from its “iBeautifulLife” elderly house in Zhonghe, this elderly care project has been the spotlight since Radium announced in Dec. 2020. Radium plans to implement the digital cloud monitoring system and cooperate with Mackay Medical College, Minghsin University of Science and Technology, and St. John's University to well manage the medical and elderly care system.
Simultaneously, Radium keeps investing into circular economy business which has accounted the Company’s revenue for more than 30%. The subsidiary Rih-Ding Water Enterprise Co. completed the second phase expansion project of Taoyuan North District Water Resources Recycling Center in Dec. 2020 and connected 115 kilometers underground pipeline network in Taoyuan North District. The company is now able to reach 100,000 households in Taoyuan, and treat 100,000 tons of sewage a day. Even more, with patented technologies of BioNET (bioreticulum) and MBR (membrane biological reaction) filtration, Rih-Ding Wager is now capable to generate 31,000 tons of renewable/reusable water per day.
