RADIUM (2547 TW) announces Board Meeting approved important business report of 2022

Listed company Radium (2547 TW) announces its board of directors has approved the Company’s important business report of 2022.

For Radium elderly caring business, benchmark project “Genesis 1” in Sanzhi, combining with service of elderly caring house “I Beautiful Life,” had released reserved units due to market demand. The 520 available residential units were sold out, with 2 units reserved for long-term operating service. The following project “Genesis 2” was launched in 2H 2022 planning with more than 130 apartments of 15-ping, 27-ping and 33-ping, positioned to be the leisure residential for the elderly. With UWB system installed to locate accurately the residents’ location outdoor in case of emergency, indoor emergency buttons are also setup in the bedroom, living room and bathroom. In order to provide quiet and energy-saving living, walls of building are designed with layers of heat-insulating mortar, floors of living room and bedroom are equipped with sound insulation material to reduce noise impact.  Along with that, airtight windows and energy-saving glass are installed to effectively insulate heat and resist ultraviolet rays, with roof-top solar panels designed to supply part of electricity in public area. Genesis 2 is scheduled to complete by end of 2025, and around 40% of the project are sold currently.

As for construction business, spot-lighting project “Qiao'an” with a site area of ​​about 1,038 pings in Taipei commercial area, has started construction in 3Q 2022 and scheduled to complete in 1H 2027. It’s designed to build SRC green buildings of 24-storey high and 4 floors undergrounded. While the three development projects along Taichung MRT system, urban designs are under review expecting to start constructions in 2024.  As for the project of administrative building and library building construction, National Palace Museum, construction had been started in November 2022, with construction period estimated to be around 2 years.

For circular economy business, subsidiary Rih Ding Water’s sewage recycling system has connected more than 127,000 households in 2022. With capacity of treating 100,000 tons of sewage per day, Rih Ding Water is capable of supplying 30,000 tons of high-quality discharged water, equivalent to the water volume of 12 Olympic swimming pools to industrials nearby. While Taoyuan North District Reclaimed Water BTO project managed by subsidiary Bao Ding Reclaimed Water, the project has started construction in November 2022, and related geological drilling and geophysical exploration plans are undergoing. It’s expected to deliver around 10,000 tons of reclaimed water daily to CPC Refinery in Taoyuan starting from 2H 2024. The first phase of BTO project is scheduled to be completed in 2025, expecting to provide more than 40,000 metric tons of reclaimed water per day, with water pipeline of about 29.92 kilometers to supply Guanyin Industrial Zone and Nanya Plastic Jinxing Factory in Taoyu.
