Radium (2547 TW)

Radium Group Earns Prestigious Awards

through “RADIUM ONE,” “Wenxin Chongde G6” and “Bao Ding Reclaimed Water”

Radium Group Strengthens Its Commitment to Urban Renewal, TOD Development and Sustainable City

Radium (TWSE: 2547), through its subsidiary Ji Shun Life, has once again received national recognition for excellence in real estate development and sustainable urban living. In September 2026, two of its landmark developments “RADIUM ONE” and “Taichung Wenxin Chongde G6,” were both honored with prestigious Golden Stone Awards for Architecture.

Together, they received national awards in both the “Excellence in Architectural Planning and Design category” and the “Healthy Living -Sustainability/Design category.” Among these honors, RADIUM ONE received the highest distinction in its category: The Grand Prize for Excellence in Planning and Design. Collectively, the two developments secured five national-level awards.

Beyond residential and urban development, the Taoyuan Reclaimed Water System, developed and constructed by Radium’s subsidiary Bao Ding Reclaimed Water, received the Special Award in the 2025 Evaluation of Reclaimed Water Infrastructure at Public Wastewater Treatment Plants, presented by the National Land Management Agency, Ministry of the Interior, in late August 2026.

From architectural design and urban renewal to TOD development, reclaimed water, water resource circulation and smart governance, Radium Group has steadily expanded beyond the traditional boundaries of property development. Its business portfolio is increasingly extending into urban infrastructure, with smart development, sustainability, low-carbon solutions and urban resilience at its core.

The Group is building a long-term strategy for the next generation of cities, one that seeks to balance urban growth with environmental sustainability and quality of life.

From Architecture and TOD to Reclaimed Water

Three Strategic Platforms for the Future of Cities

The Group’s latest achievements reflect three strategic dimensions of urban development: architecture, TOD and urban water resources.

RADIUM ONE represents Radium’s long-term expertise in urban renewal, reconstruction of aging and at-risk buildings, and the development of high-quality residential communities.

Taichung Wenxin Chongde G6 represents the Group’s transition from conventional residential development toward TOD-oriented urban node development, integrating transportation, land use and community functions.

Meanwhile, Bao Ding Reclaimed Water’s Taoyuan Reclaimed Water System represents Radium’s further expansion into public urban infrastructure, incorporating water-resource circulation and smart governance into the Group’s broader vision of sustainable urban development.

Radium Group Chairman Lin Rong-shian said that, “RADIUM ONE represents Radium’s commitment to improving the city; G6 represents our effort to reconnect the city; and Bao Ding Reclaimed Water represents our commitment to strengthening urban resilience.”

The ultimate objective, he said, is to put Radium’s vision of sustainable cities into practice, which is enabling cities to grow while maintaining high standards of living, transportation efficiency, resource circulation and environmental resilience.

This also reflects a fundamental transformation in Radium’s business philosophy: from developing individual projects to managing and contributing to the long-term development of cities.

RADIUM ONE Receives Further Recognition

12 Years of Urban Renewal Integration Create a New Taipei Landmark

Located on Guangfu South Road in Taipei’s Da’an District, RADIUM ONE occupies approximately 1,038 pings (approximately 3,432 square meters). The site was formerly home to Qiao’an New Village, a complex of 16 aging apartment buildings.

After 12 years of land and stakeholder integration, the project is transforming the site through urban renewal into a 24-story SRC seismic-resistant building.

Safety, health, intelligence, low-carbon design and aesthetics form the foundation of the project. Domestic and international architectural and design teams have been brought together with the goal of achieving five major certifications and standards: WELL Building Standard, Gold-level Smart Building certification, Green Building certification, Low-Carbon Building certification and seismic-resistant building standards.

These elements are integrated into the residential planning to create a living environment that combines safety, health, energy efficiency, carbon reduction and smart technology.

The project is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2027.

RADIUM ONE previously received the National Architecture Golden Award and Taiwan Integrity Brand recognition in 2024, and was also named a “Triple Crown” winner of the National Architecture Golden Awards.

Its latest Golden Stone Award recognition further demonstrates the long-term accumulation of expertise in architectural professionalism, planning and design, and integrity in corporate management.

During construction, Radium has also transformed the project’s construction fencing into an urban art gallery, inviting artists to create works inspired by the culture, history and everyday life of Taipei’s East District.

In this way, urban renewal becomes more than a physical transformation of the built environment. It also becomes a means of preserving and continuing the cultural identity of the city.

Taichung Metro Green Line Surpasses 10 Million Passenger Trips

Transit-Oriented Development Moves from Urban Vision to Everyday Life

Another award-winning project, Taichung Wenxin Chongde G6, represents a significant step in Radium’s evolution from residential development toward TOD urban development.

The continued growth of Taichung Metro ridership provides direct market validation for the city’s emerging rail economy and the development potential surrounding transit-oriented communities.

During the first seven months of 2026, cumulative ridership on the Taichung Metro Green Line surpassed 10.52 million passenger trips, representing a 9.2% increase from approximately 9.63 million trips during the same period in 2025. Monthly entries in July alone exceeded 1.48 million passenger trips.

As metro ridership develops into stable daily commuting demand, the rail economy is no longer simply an ancillary benefit of transportation infrastructure. It is increasingly becoming a fundamental force reshaping the allocation of land, urban functions and daily living patterns.

In addition to Taichung Wenxin Chongde G6, Radium continues to develop projects at Taichung Metro Green Line Nantun G11 and Wenxin Yinghua G8a, establishing a three-station TOD strategy linking G6, G11 and G8a.

Actual ridership data further demonstrates the strength of these locations. In July 2026, Wenxin Chongde G6 recorded approximately 114,900 station entries, ranking third among stations on the Green Line. Nantun G11 recorded approximately 56,900 entries, while Wenxin Yinghua G8a recorded approximately 53,900 entries.

Radium will undertake differentiated planning for each urban node based on population structure, commercial functions, industrial development and local lifestyle needs.

The objective is to create a more complete urban ecosystem in which metro transportation, land development, housing, commerce and public space are integrated into a coherent living system.

Bao Ding Reclaimed Water Wins Special Award from the National Land Management Agency, MOI

Taoyuan Reclaimed Water System Strengthens Urban and Industrial Resilience Through Water Circulation

Beyond architecture and TOD development, another important pillar of Radium Group’s circular-economy strategy is represented by its subsidiaries Rih Ding Water and Bao Ding Reclaimed Water.

The Taoyuan Reclaimed Water System, developed by Bao Ding Reclaimed Water, received a Special Award in August 2026 from the National Land Management Agency, Ministry of the Interior under the 2025 evaluation of reclaimed water infrastructure at public wastewater treatment plants.

The recognition underscores Radium’s growing commitment to public urban infrastructure, water-resource circulation and smart governance.

The Northern Taoyuan Reclaimed Water Center was completed and began supplying Reclaimed Water in September 2025. It currently provides approximately 40,000 CMD (cubic meters per day) of Reclaimed Water to major industrial users, including the Taoyuan Refinery, Nan Ya Jin Xing Plant and Asia Pacific Petrochemical.

Over the full development period, capacity is expected to increase to 112,000 CMD, with future expansion planned to serve Longtan Science Park Phase III.

At the same time, Taoyuan City is developing a citywide GIS database for its reclaimed water pipeline network and connecting it with the National Land Management Agency’s system, creating an integrated smart-governance GIS platform for reclaimed water infrastructure.

The platform is expected to significantly improve pipeline maintenance and facility management efficiency.

Radium subsidiary Rih Ding Water has also introduced smart hydroponics and green-energy agriculture at the Northern Taoyuan Water Resource Center. By utilizing treated effluent, reclaimed water and RO concentrate, the facility creates an educational and green-agriculture environment that demonstrates the circular-economy principle of “using every drop of water multiple times.”

Radium’s sustainability strategy is therefore becoming increasingly clear: Urban renewal improves existing cities; TOD strengthens transportation and community connections; and water resource infrastructure strengthens the resilience of cities and industries.

From Taipei to Taichung and Kaohsiung

From “Project Development” to Long-Term “City Management”

Radium’s development strategy is also undergoing a fundamental transformation, which is from conventional project-by-project development toward a long-term model centered on urban renewal, TOD and strategic urban nodes.

In Northern Taiwan, Radium is developing the Guanqian Road Urban Renewal Project in the Taipei Main Station core district.

The project is oriented toward smart technology, low-carbon design and high-specification office demand, with the goal of strengthening the functions and competitiveness of Taipei’s central business district.

In Central Taiwan, the Group is establishing the G6, G11 and G8a three-station strategy along the Taichung Metro Green Line.

The focus is no longer limited to individual property projects. Instead, Radium is extending its role toward the long-term development and management of TOD urban nodes, deepening its participation in the new communities and economic opportunities created by Taichung’s rail economy.

In Southern Taiwan, Radium is working with the Kaohsiung City Government on the Kaohsiung Metro R17 World Games Station A5 Block Urban Renewal Project.

The 13,884 square meters (approximately 4,200-ping) site represents a total investment of more than NT$8.85 billion. The development is planned to integrate office space, industrial functions, residential communities and commercial facilities, positioning the project as an important urban node supporting the development of technology industries in northern Kaohsiung.

Sustainability Is the Foundation of Radium’s Long-Term Management Vision

Chairman Lin Rong-shian said that, Radium’s two projects receiving simultaneous recognition from the Chinese Architecture Excellent Building Golden Stone Awards demonstrates the Group’s ability to pursue different models of urban development.

RADIUM ONE and Taichung Wenxin Chongde G6 represent two distinct development approaches, which are urban renewal and TOD-oriented urban development.

The fact that both projects also received the Golden Stone Award in the Healthy Living Environment- Sustainability/Design category demonstrates that regardless of the city or development model, sustainability and quality remain core values that Radium has consistently upheld over the long term.

Lin further noted that the Special Award received by Bao Ding Reclaimed Water marks another important step forward in Radium’s sustainability strategy.

“Buildings improve people’s lives. Transportation changes the distance between places. Water resources determine whether cities and industries can continue to develop over the long term.”

For a company with a long-term perspective, he said, sustainable development is not a short-term marketing initiative but a fundamental business philosophy.

Radium will continue to develop with vision of sustainability, building on its expertise in architecture while working in partnership with cities.

From northern Taiwan to central and southern Taiwan, the Group will continue investing in urban development and connecting architecture, transportation, water resources and the environment into a more integrated system, to help creating the next generation of Taiwanese cities of resilience and intelligence.
