Radium Group (2547TW) Titan Development

is Awarded the Winning Tenderer for social housing project "Dan Jin Housing" in New Taipei City

Listed company Radium (2547 TW) announced its subsidiary Titan Development and Construction Co., Ltd. participated in the open tendering procedures of the social housing project "Dan Jin Housing" in Tamsui District, New Taipei City, is awarded the winning tenderer by the National Housing and Urban Regeneration Center, with an amount of NT$3.339 billion.

"Dan Jin Housing" is located at the intersection of Danjin Highway and Binhai Road, within the area of Danhai New Town.  Adjacent to Tamsui Administration Center Station of Danhai light rail transit, the project land base is around 2,117 pings (7,000 square meter), with Tamsui National Sports Center and Tamsui Gongba Park (disaster prevention park) nearby.  "Dan Jin Housing" is to increase 620 social housing units in New Taipei City, with 5% of which to be accessible housing. The construction period is estimated to be 5.5 years.

According to the data released by the National Housing and Urban Regeneration Center, bids for 8,286 social housing units have been awarded in New Taipei City, and a total of 38,709 social housing units accumulated has been completed or awarded in Taiwan so far. To support government’s social housing policy and become a green enterprise determined to uphold sustainability, Radium with its subsidiary Titan Development will actively invest into building "Dan Jin Housing" with joint partner team. The community is planned to set aside an 8-meter-retreating green belt, integrating with sidewalks and bicycle lanes, to create a belt-shaped open green area. Utilizing concept of biodiversity, it’s schemed to plant a variety of trees, shrubs, and herbs, with green recreation area in building and garden on roof-top. Meanwhile, accessible housing units are designed on lower floors, combining facilities such as day care center, kindergartens, central corridor plazas, and shops to strengthen the universal living environment for all ages. It is planned to obtain green buildings label, intelligent building label, and structure accreditation building labels.

Titan has won Public Construction Golden Quality Award and the Top prize of the “National Water Environment Award of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Water Resources.”
